Two held for shooting at contractor

The police today arrested two persons for shooting at a local cement contractor. The accused have been identified as Ashok Kumar and Ajay, both residents of Bhaini Rohilla of Bhiwani district.

They had shot at Purshotam Bansal on April 17. One of the accused, Kuldeep, is still at large.

Dinesh Kumar Yadav, DSP, said, “The accused have confessed to their crime and said Sanjay Kumar of Hisar, Dharminder, Baljeet and Roshan of Jind district had hired them as contract killers to murder the victim and his two brothers.”

“The contract killers are absconding and the police have announced to reward the informer with Rs 5,000. They had rivalry with Bansal brothers over some issue related to truck union,” said the DSP.
