Jhajjar, May 28
The Jhajjar police yesterday nabbed two shooters of the Delhi-based Rajesh Bawana gang after a brief encounter. The police have also recovered three pistols and a Swift car from them.
Jhajjar SP Sumit Kuhar informed the accused— Manbir, alias Rancho, of Puthkhurd village (Delhi) and Manjeet of Murthal village (Sonepat)— were wanted in Delhi and Haryana.
He maintained the accused revealed that they were hatching a plot to killing rival gangster Neeraj Bawana, his maternal uncle Rambir Singh, Dinesh, Aman Dabas of Puthkhurd and Vikas Langarpuria.
As soon as the SIT intercepted a Swift car for checking, two youths sitting in the car opened fire in a bid to escape. The cops managed to nab the two, the SP added. — TNS
