DBS College students burn management’s effigy

Students of the DBS PG College burnt an effigy of the college management and its principal on the college campus here today. They were demanding suspension of college principal OP Kulshestra.
The agitating students locked down the classes and offices of the college and raised slogans against the college management for not taking any action against the principal.
Student Union President Pankaj Negi said “The protests will continue till the principal of the college is not suspended”.
He alleged that the college management was trying to protect the principal, which would not be tolerated. The protests would be intensified if the demands were not fulfilled soon, Negi added. Meanwhile, heavy police was deployed on the college campus.
