New Delhi, April 8
A 24-year-old alleged motorcycle thief was killed while his accomplice injured after their “stolen” motorcycle rammed into a divider on a flyover in the Adarsh Nagar area, Northwest Delhi, said a police official.
A call about two injured youth lying on the flyover was received around 2.40 am. They were admitted to a nearby hospital where one of them identified as Bharat was declared dead. The other, Bindu (22), was going under treatment, said the official.
It is suspected that another accomplice of the duo ran away after the accident.
The motorcycle involved in the accident was stolen from the Ranibagh area. They were riding it at a high speed for the fear of being caught, added the official. — PTI
