New Delhi, April 15
With a strategy to win all the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, the BJP has got survey reports of its sitting MPs four times from different agencies. On the basis of these reports the BJP has submitted list of candidates to high command for final decision, sources in the party said.
As the nomination is to begin tomorrow and its last date is April 23, the list can be announced soon.
The sources said it might be like the last municipal corporation elections where all the sitting councillors were replaced by the new candidates. This was done with an idea to win the election and the party had succeeded in its plan.
According to the sources, in case of parliamentary elections the party has received negative reports from some parliamentary constituencies and the party can replace the sitting MPs from there. The leadership is just waiting for the Congress list. The AAP has already announced its candidates.
The BJP is mainly concentrating for the Northwest reserved constituency where Dalit leader Dr Udit Raj is sitting MP, South is being represented by Ramesh Bidhuri and East by Mahesh Girrie who is close to spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
