New Delhi, March 5

BJP's Yuva Morcha workers led by their president Sunil Yadav today held a massive demonstration outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence, demanding dismissal of hawala scam accused minister Satendra Jain whose alleged “benami property” worth Rs 33 crore has been seized by the Income Tax authorities last week.

Around 1,500 Yuva Morcha workers assembled near Trauma Centre, Civil Lines and from there marched towards the Chief Minister's residence around 2 kms away. As they broke two cordons near the CM's residence, the police used mild force and water cannons to disperse the youth demonstrators.

During the police action and breaking of cordons, the Yuva Morcha president and a worker Tanu Sharma got hurt with hand injuries while BJP vice-president Sardar Kulwant Bath fell and injured his nose bleeding heavily. The police announced detention of demonstrators, but released them after a few minutes with a warning to go away.

Yadav said that Kejriwal came to power promising corruption-free transparent regime but only two years later, people have seen the “true colours” of the AAP government.

He said people of the national Capital want Kejriwal to act against his corrupt minister and warned if he doesn’t, it will face a massive rejection in the ensuing municipal elections.

Raising questions on AAP’s funding sources, general secretary Rajesh Bhatia alleged that Jain's matter of “hawala” dealings has made it clear that the Aam Aadmi Party's financial dealings are dubious.
