Jalaj Shrivastava has relinquished the charge as chairperson of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and handed it over to Dharm Pal, IAS, Principal Secretary (Social Welfare and Women and Child Welfare), Government. of NCT of Delhi. Dharm Pal will work as NDMC chairman in addition to his duties. A 1984 batch IAS officer of UT cadre, Shrivastava will be joining as Additional Secretary, Deptt. of Agriculture and Cooperation in the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India. —TNS
