DSSSB to conduct exam for primary teachers

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) will conduct exams for primary school teacher (MCD) on Sunday for the vacancies advertised in August and September this year.
The Secretary of DSSSB, Rajesh Chopra said that the exam would be held in 223 centers across Delhi and more than one lakh candidates were expected to appear against 4,366 vacant posts of primary teachers. The Board has made extensive preparation for conducting free and fair examination, including deployment of a large number of officials for invigilation duties.
Chopra said that a number of senior officers, including IAS officers, would be deployed and each center would be supervised by an IAS officer or senior DANICS officer in order to curb the menace of impersonation and unfair means.
The Secretary further informed that the Board had prescribed a strict dress code which is required to be followed by all candidates. Full sleeve dresses, jewellery, closed toed shoes, high heels footwear, watches, pens, electronic equipment, including mobiles etc. are prohibited.
