Nearly three months after Lt Governor Najeeb Jung sought clarification from the Delhi Government on its proposal to create dedicated bus lanes, the AAP government is going to send its proposal back to the LG for his approval.

PWD Minister Satyendra Jain today said the file will be sent to the LG soon.

In its plan, the government wants to have dedicated bus lanes on major lanes across the city and wants to impose Rs 2,000 fine on those obstructing the plying of buses on such lanes. — TNS
