It was closed around 9am on the advise of Delhi Police, a senior DMRC official said. Police said the station was closed for public to prevent any disturbance after a large number of students gathered near the station.

SSC conducts examination for clerical jobs in government departments. The government has so far not commented anything on the allegations.

"Irregularities in the test were evident as the answer key of Maths paper appeared on social media even during the test on February 21," said a candidate who came from Bihar.

The students, holding demonstration outside the complex for the past five days, met the SSC chairman but no solution could be found to end the protest.

Police said the situation was being monitored and the protest has so far been peaceful.

Meanwhile, Delhi BJP president, Manoj Tiwari met the protesting students and assured that he would take up the issue with the minister concerned.

Tiwari spent an hour with the candidates to listen to their grievances, a statement issued by the BJP office said.

He said the agitating candidates belong to various states and he met them on "humanitarian" grounds.

Tiwari assured the aspirants of a fair inquiry and action, it read.

Delhi BJP General Secretary, Rajesh Bhatia and media in-charge Pratyush Kanth accompanied him.
