KV, Pushp Vihar, gets excellent education award

Kendriya Vidyalaya in Sector-3, Pushp Vihar, bagged the Excellent Government School Education of North India award for 2016-17.
Kendriya Vidyalaya has been scaling new heights of success in academic and co-curricular activities since 2013. And Central Board of Secondary Education result of the vidyalaya for the session 2016-17 was 99.67 percent which is the second best result in the Delhi-NCR, said principal of the school JP Singh.
This year, Amit Yadav and Siddhant Prakash of Class XII scored 95 percent in All India Senior School Certificate Examination. They were honoured by Prakash Jawadekar, The Minister of Human Resource Development. Ojswi Verma, a student of the Kendriya Vidyalaya, was felicitated by Rajnath Singh, the Minister of Home Affairs, on her success in an essay writing competition conducted by the National Disaster Response Force.
As a result of this glowing success Kendriya Vidyalaya has been selected as the best school in the North Zone in National School Education Summit and Award-2017.
The principal said this achievement was only possible because of continuous support and co-operation of the staff of the school. “We will further keep striving for success in every field,” said the principal.
