A 56-year-old man today allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a Delhi Metro train.

The incident took place around 3.30 pm at the Janakpuri West Metro Station. The man has been identified as D Chawala, a resident of Vikaspuri.

The police are investigating the matter.

Man tries to commit suicide at Metro station

A man jumped from the elevated platform area of the Jhandewalan Metro Station around 9 am, the official said.

The 35-year-old unidentified man has been admitted to a hospital, he said, adding that the police are probing the case.
