Man kills wife, hacks body into pieces

In a bizarre case, a man slit his wife neck with a hacksaw blade in the Madhu Vihar area, East Delhi. After the dreadful incident, the husband kept sleeping in a pool of blood with the body of his wife for three consecutive days, said a senior police official.

Later, he cut her body into pieces to dispose it of. For the purpose, he bought yet another bigger hacksaw blade and bag from market.

The accused slit the head completely from the body and put it in the bag.

He disclosed the whole incident to a friend living in the neighbourhood. His friend disclosed the whole incident to the police who swung into action and took the body in their possession.

According to East Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police Om Veer Singh, “It is a heinous crime. A normal person can’t do such an act. Prima facie it appears to be the act of a mentally disturbed person. Further investigation is going on.”
