NDMC area to have four mobile dispensaries

The BJP MP from New Delhi Parliamentary constituency, Meenakshi Lekhi, today said that four women-focused mobile dispensaries in the NDMC area would be started within a month."Four mobile dispensaries for women will be provided within one month from my MP Local Area Development fund," Lekhi said today.
The dispensaries will travel around the city covering the entire NDMC area. The civic body will facilitate the roll out of dispensaries to ensure women in the areas benefit from the initiative.
While participating in an inaugural function of a new electric sub-station commissioned by the NDMC, Lekhi said that the problem of electricity supply to Pillanji village would also be solved by establishing a new sub-station which has been approved by the civic body, work for which is going to be completed soon.
Lekhi adopted Pillanji last year to develop it as a model village.
Two electric sub-stations set up by NDMC at Ali Ganj-Jor Bagh and Sarojini Nagar were inaugurated today by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The Rs 5.5 crore sub-station in Aliganj-JorBagh is a 33 KV grid sub-station having an installed capacity of 40 MVA. With this addition, whereas the transformation capacity in NDMC supply system would increase to 1400 MVA, the number of 33 KV grid sub-stations would go up to 25.
With the commissioning of this sub-station, consumers in Aliganj, Jor Bagh, Lodhi Road, Khanna Market and institutional and commercial establishments in the adjoining areas, would benefit.
