As part of the Delhi Police Digital initiatives for “Digital India — Power to Empower”, the police department has launched an “Online System” for the grant Of Casual Performance Licences in the licenced premises for making it speedy, transparent and efficient with hassle-free services.
The “Online Licencing System” is the latest initiative by the Delhi Police for ensuring instant delivery by simplifying the process of issue of Casual Performance Licence. The system has been designed, developed and implemented internally after consultations with all stakeholders and IT professionals, spokesperson for the Delhi Police said.
The licensing unit of the Delhi Police plays a vital role in providing services across a broad spectrum for bringing the police closer to the Citizens. The unit is committed to the objective of providing prompt and quality service to the citizens. The unit has the onerous task of not only granting licences, but also for ensuring that all the license conditions are strictly enforced by the police so that the safety, security and convenience of citizens are not compromised. In doing this, the unit ensures that law abiding and conscientious citizens are not put to any inconvenience in the process, he said.
