People across the national capital gathered at Jantar Mantar on Tuesday to demand ban on online game PUBG. The demonstration was organised by the National Akali Dal. Parents, who were present in large numbers, also burnt the effigy of mobile phones.

Recently, a 16-year-old student of Class XII, Furqan Qureshi, had lost his life due to a major cardiac arrest after playing PUBG for straight six hours in Madhya Pradesh.

The protesters urged the government to ban the addictive game before it threatens the lives of more children.
