The 26-year-old son of a Delhi Police sub-inspector was found dead inside his car, with a gunshot wound in his head, police said on Monday.
A passer-by spotted Anuj's body in west Delhi's Shahbad Dairy area Monday morning, police said.
"Anuj had gone to meet his friend Sunday evening after informing his mother, but he did not reach there," a police official told IANS.
Police said he was found on the driver's seat in his car. There was a gunshot injury in his right temple.
Police suspect personal enmity but have not ruled out the possibility of suicide. Several friends have been questioned.
His father Anand is posted at Sabzi Mandi police station.
In another incident, a 30-year-old tailor was shot dead by two bike borne assailants near his home in east Delhi's Jyoti Nagar area, late night Sunday.
Shamim Ahmed was sitting with his friend at a tea shop when two men came on a motorcycle and one of them opened fire at him. A bullet hit him on the head. He died on the spot.
Police said that Ahmed had disputes over money with some people. — IANS
