According to the police, the motive behind the murder is a monetary dispute. The police said that more details will emerge from the investigation after the arrests of the other accused.

Shivam had left his residence on Tuesday evening on a motorcycle with one Imran. The two headed to a forested area where three others were waiting for them.

Shivam was then stabbed to death. The accused also allegedly stabbed his face with knives to conceal his identity. His body was found by a passerby on Wednesday and the police were informed about it. A case of murder has been registered at the Sangam Vihar police station and Imran was arrested from his hideout.
