Delhi Police Control Room received a distress call regarding a quarrel and a medico-legal case (MLC) received from the Safdarjung Hospital regarding injured tongue, said DCP Kuruvilla (Outer).

The name of the victim Karan (22), a resident of Vikas Nagar and a street artist, had registered the call with the PCR, he said.

Karan alleged that his pregnant wife Kajal (22), had an altercation with him. They later patched up and Karan's wife started kissing him. While kissing, his wife bite his tongue off, the DCP said.

Both are married since 2016. A case has been registered under section 326 IPC, but no arrest has been made till now in the case, the DCP added. — TNS
