The Enforcement Directorate and the police, who are on the lookout for Canadian NRI Parminder Singh Pindi — wanted in the Bhola drug case — have got information that his gangster son, Sukh Deo, was killed in Toronto on Tuesday.

As per reports in the Canadian media, Sukh Deo, 34, was inside a Range Rover when two men shot at him. The reports mentioned that his father identified him.

There is also a mention of Pindi’s other son, Harjit Deo, who too was reportedly convicted in 2007 in a kidnapping case in New Westminster. Pindi is facing an NDPS case lodged by the police and a money laundering case filed by the ED. He is facing charges of taking supplies of synthetic drugs from Amritsar-based industrialist Jagjit Singh Chahal.

Bittu Aulakh, a key accused, had reportedly told the ED that Pindi was introduced to him by another Canadian NRI, Satinder Satta, at the wedding ceremony of Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia on November 25, 2009, near Chandigarh.
