Dushyant targets govt over law & order
Sonepat: Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) convener Dushyant Chautala on Thursday targeted the state government over “poor law and order” situation in the state. On an average, three rapes, three murders and four robberies were taking place in the state daily for the past around five years, he claimed. “Unemployment is at its peak these days,” he said, adding the government allowed the state to burn thrice in four years. Two convicted under NDPS Act
Kaithal: District and Sessions Judge MM Dhonchak has sentenced Dhanouri village resident Kuldip Sharma to 10-year RI for possessing 5-kg opium. He was also fined Rs 1 lakh. Raj Pal of Andhli village was given five-year imprisonment for growing 71-kg opium in his field. He was fined Rs 50,000. OC
