Project presentation for the 22nd state-level Children’s Science Congress - 2014 was held at the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sector 12, here, today.
The theme of this year’s National Children Science Congress and the Indian Science Congress is “Understanding Weather and Climate”.
As many as 33 teams from different schools of Chandigarh, both government and private (junior and senior), gave presentations on different themes under the “Understanding Weather and Climate”.
The presentations were given before the selection committee consisting Dr KS Bath, Principal Scientific Officer, Punjab State Council for Science and Technology (PSCST), Chandigarh, Sorab Anand Jain, and Preeti, Project Scientist, Punjab State Council for Science and Technology (PSCST), Chandigarh.
The selected teams will attend the 22nd National Children Science Congress - 2014 to be held in Bangalore from December 27 to 31 and the 102nd Indian Science Congress to be held in Mumbai from January 3 to 7, 2015.
The results of the presentation will be declared on Friday.
