Khanna, April 14
Students of the AS Group of Institutions, Khanna, visited an old age home at Bulepur as part of a social initiative for enhancing the humanistic side of budding managers. It was organised by Arjun Dhammi, NSS coordinator.
Director Dr Harpreet Singh said fast lifestyle leads to ignorance of issues pertaining to the elderly and had caused increased cases of stress among them.
Students later presented a cultural show and presented gifts to the inmates of the home. The students pledged to work for educating the society about the problems of the elderly and work for the development of the social aspect of senior citizens. — OC
