Apply online for PU admissions

The online admission process for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses at all Panjab University departments will commence from June 1. Students can fill the forms online from June 1 and the last date for the submission of forms is June 30.
After submitting the forms online, students will be called for counselling during which they will have to show their original certificates to the admission committee.
The department will prepare a merit list on the basis of counselling. The counselling for admission to the PU departments will be held from July 17 to 19 and the fee can be submitted on July 20.
For the social science and languages departments, the online admission process has been introduced for the first time. PU online coordinator for social sciences and languages Yograj said the schedule was approved today. He said the merit list will also be displayed online.
Of the 73 departments, as many as 28 departments were following the manual admission process.
Earlier, the university had appointed two members, Meena Sethi for languages departments and Prof Pampa Mukerjee for arts departments, to guide the staff in case they
faced any difficulty in following the online admission system.
