Jammu, December 22
Army Public School (APS), Akhnoor, celebrated its annual day on the theme “Cultural heritage of India” at Sangha Auditorium on the school premises here.
Maj Gen Kulpreet Singh, patron of the school, was the chief guest, while Naveeta K Singh was the guest of honour. Brig Rajendra Joshi, chairman of the school, along with Principal KCS Mehta were also present.
The function was declared open by the dignitaries with lighting of the traditional lamp and it was followed by presentation of the school annual report by Principal KCS Mehta.
He highlighted the academic achievements and all-round development of the school. School students attired in colourful costumes presented cultural items. The chief guest gave away prizes to the meritorious students and achievers. The vote of thanks was presented by Head Girl of the school.
