Dr Sunil Joshi, newly appointed director of Rishikul Ayurvedic Medical College, affiliated with Uttarakhand Ayurvedic University, today assured of better academic environment on the college campus and taking forward ayurvedic medical therapy. A renowned expert of Marma — an ancient medical therapy — Dr Joshi announced the opening of nursing courses in the college again which were closed last year.
On the delay of Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine Surgery (BAMS) courses semesters, he said it was his priority to ensure that all academic semesters were held in stipulated time-frame. He assured of bringing visible changes in Rishikul Ayurvedic Hospital and also emphasised the need of providing the best of ayurvedic treatment to the patients. Focus on research work, better coordination between staff members, holding inter-college seminars, workshops and improving college infrastructure were also his goals, Dr Joshi added.
