BBA students excel

Students of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management performed well in BBA final year exam. Nikita Jain secured third position in the university with 1763 marks out of 2150. The college takes pride in the fact that out of 87 students appeared, 81 pocketed the first division. Principal of the college Dr R L Behl felicitated all the students and motivated the college faculty to achieve better results in order to pursue the vision of the college of achieving national level eminence.

Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women

Students of Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women performed well in the BBA final year exam of Panjab University. Jasbir Kaur stood first position in college with 1645 marks (76.51%). Ranjit Kaur secured second position in college with 1541 marks (71.67%) and Harinder Kaur got third position in college with 1519 marks (70.65%). Principal Dr Parveen Kaur Chawla congratulated the students who worked hard to achieve their goals and faculty members for their excellent guidance and teaching.

SDP College for Women

Deepika, Shivani and Kritika of SDP College for Women, Ludhiana, stood first, second and third, respectively in the college in BBA final year result declared by Panjab University, Chandigarh. It is a matter of great pride and honour for the college. Barlraj Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College management committee and Dr Kawal Jit Kaur, principal, congratulated the toppers and faculty members.

Govt College for Girls

Students of Government College for Girls performed well in BBA second year exam of Panjab University. Anshu Vaid secured tenth position in the university standing fist in the college securing 78 per cent marks. Arshleen Arora stood second in the college and Parampreet Kaur stood third in the college. 

Workshop organised

An eight-day residential wokshop on Universal Human Values and Professional Ethics was held at Punjab Institute of Management and Technology, Mandi Gobindgarh. The motive of organising the workshop was to facilitate the development of responsible and competent citizens for society who have the competence, practice and entrepreneurial ability to be meaningfully employed or self-employed and to actively participate in developing a humane society, as per college authorities. The speakers revealed the facts of life to the participants in which they gave a proposal of harmonious life which can be achieved with right understanding, focusing on human relationships and utilizing physical facilities according to the needs. — TNS
