BEd results out

Patiala: Results of BEd (2015-2017) second semester of the Patiala College of Education, Hardaspur, run by Sara Educational and Social Society, was declared by Punjabi University, Patiala. All students of the college passed with good marks. Khushpreet Kaur and Kamalpreet Kaur bagged the first position with 79.6 per cent marks. The second position was grabbed by Najma Bhardwaj and Parneet Kaur Buttar. Mandeep Kaur and Neeru Prajapati jointly stood third in the college. College MD Rakesh Goyal, director Jagjit Singh and Principal DP Asija congratulated the students and staff members  for their hard work. Rakesh Goyal, while motivating the students, said the Patiala College of Educationwas established with the aim of all-around development of students and by showing 100 per cent results since 2008, the college was taking leaps forward. Dr DP Asija appreciated all the staff members. 

One-day workshop

The Old Students’ Association (OSA) of Khalsa College, Patiala, organised a one-day workshop on September 16 for teachers and students of the college. The workshop was organised to update them about Almabay - an online alumni platform which helps  students to seek job opportunities. Business head Almabay Rakesh Arora shared with the faculty and the students how to login  the site and be its member. Four campus brand ambassadors were selected - Rohit Kumar of MCom-II, Savleen Kaur of MA-I English, Jappandeep Singh of BSc-II and Shruti, a student of BBA-II. These students would generate awareness among the students of the college so that they could register themselves on the site and take advantage of the facility provided by the college. — TNS
