Cambrian School founder remembered

The 28th death anniversary of Col Shashi Shumshere JB Rana, founder and president of Cambrian School was observed at Cambrian Hall here today.
Principal Dr SC Biala threw light on the early life, education and achievements of late Col Shashi. He recounted his selfless services to Cambrian Hall and mentioned that he had nurtured it with great care for 34 years.
School president Rani Chandra Raj Laxmi Rana lighted a lamp and offered floral tributes to Col Shashi. Guest speaker Shanti Swaroop, Krishna Shumshere JB Rana, Dr Arun Kumar, Maj Gen S Sabharwal, Gen Shakti Gurung, members of the Board of Trustees, Vice-Principal Dr RC Uniyal, Principal, co-ordinators, school captains, friends and relatives of Col Shashi also paid tributes to the founder.
School choir sang a bhajan ‘Ishwar Allah Tere Naam’.
