Ludhiana: Guru Hargobind Public Senior Secondary School, Sidhwan Khurd, students performed well in CBSE Class XII exams. The overall pass percentage was 98.5 per cent. ln medical stream, Mandeep Kaur stood first with 85 per cent, Harshpreet Kaur stood second with 84 per cent and Sehgeet Kaur stood third with 80 per cent marks. In non-medical stream, Nishant Bansal, Harshdeep Kaur and Preet Kamal Kaur secured the top three positions with 90 per cent, 89 per cent and 88 per cent marks, respectively. ln commerce stream, Neelima Ghai, Jaskaranveer Kaur and Prabhjot Kaur secured the top three positions with 93 per cent, 88 per cent and 87 per cent marks, respectively. In arts stream, Namisha Kaura, Taranjit Kaur and Simarjyot Kaur Rai secured the top three positions with 85 per cent, 73 per cent and 72 per cent marks, respectively.
BCM SCHOOL
In all, 52 students scored above 90 per cent at BCM Senior Secondary School, Sector 32. Priyanka Sharma of commerce stream topped the school with 97.4 per cent marks while Sanjhali Jain of arts stream scored 96.6 per cent. Japneet Kaur of arts stream scored 96.4 per cent. Amneet Kaur topped in medical stream with 95.2 per cent and Ruchika Dhiman got 94.6 per cent in non-medical stream.
SACRED HEART
At Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, BRS Nagar, Ankita Aggarwal secured 95.6 per cent in commerce stream. Ridham Venayak and Mannat Garg scored 95.2 per cent each while Payal Garg and Roshni Jain secured 95 per cent each in commerce stream. Asees secured 94.8 per cent in non-medical stream, Ishita Rally secured 94.4 per cent in medical stream and Ayesha Tareen secured 91.8 per cent in humanities stream.
NANKANA SAHIB PUBLIC SCHOOL
Sukhwinder Singh was the school topper with 95 per cent marks. Out of 39 students, three scored 90 per cent in non-medical stream. In commerce stream, 35 students appeared and the result was 100 per cent. Two students got 90 per cent and above. Gaganjot scored 91.4 per cent marks and bagged the top position in commerce stream. Robinjot Kaur was second with 90.4 per cent marks.
BCM SCHOOL, DUGRI
Navdeep Kaur Deol topped in non-medical stream with 97 per cent marks. Navdeep Kaur Deol and Prerna Jolly secured 96.8 per cent each and bagged the second position in the city. Harsimran Kaur was the topper in medical stream with 96 per cent. Manpreet Kaur was the topper in commerce stream with 95.4 per cent. Mehak Sood was the topper in arts stream with 95.2 per cent.
MGM PUBLIC SCHOOL
At MGM Public School, Phase I, Dugri, Parneet Kaur (93 per cent), Vineet Bassi (90 per cent) and Sakshi Ratti (85 per cent) were the toppers in commerce, science and humanities streams, respectively.
GURU NANAK PUBLIC SCHOOL
Jaikirat Singh Sandhu, Simarleen Kaur and Gurveer Singh secured 96.6 per cent, 95.6 per cent and 95.4 per cent marks, respectively in non-medical stream. In medical stream, Sukhmani Sidhu and Jasnoor Kaur secured 95.2 per cent each, Anmolpreet Kaur secured 94.6 per cent and Jasleen Kaur secured 94.2 per cent. In commerce stream, Tashveen Kaur secured 96.6 per cent, Jasleen Kaur secured 96.4 per cent and Saloni Kaur secured 96 per cent. NCC CADETS’ ENROLLMENT
Spring Dale Senior Secondary Public School, Sherpur, enrolled NCC cadets for the session 2016-17. Lt Col Rajeev Bagga, Commanding Officer, 3 PB Bn, NCC, visited the school along with the subordinate staff. Bagga delivered a motivational lecture to all the selected cadets.
