City school chosen for CBSE’s film-making contest

Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education had announced a film-making competition on the theme “Mavels of North-East India”.

All CBSE schools across the country were invited to participate in it. Out of the entries received, 30 most mesmerising entries have been shortlisted, which would be screened at a festival being organised in New Delhi.

BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, has ranked among the top 30 entries for this film festival. The film has been written and executed by students of Mass Media Department of the school. All work from writing to editing a script and to the final production was administered by these students. The film is of five-minute duration and is titled “7 sisters-A Blend of Wonders”. This feature film is a blend of stupendous features of each state of North-East India, called the seven sisters.

On the day of screening, excellent entries would be stipulated and glorified by the CBSE.
