Toppers’ success mantra
Speaking with The Tribune, university topper Taruntej Singh said he wants to pursue MCom to become a professor as both his parents were in teaching profession. His father Paramjit Singh is a professor and mother Surjit Kaur is a schoolteacher. “Another reason I want to become a teacher is that I want the students to learn the concepts and not study at surface level. He used to study for four hours regularly and has won the second prize in a quiz contest at Zonal-Level Youth Festival.
Vani Jhanjhi, who stood second, is already pursuing MBA (Finance) at Christ University.
