Ludhiana: Excitement and fervour marked Dasehra celebrations at Kiddies' Paradise School, Kochar Market. A beautifully-decorated campus added charm, colour and piousness to the atmosphere. The kids enacted scenes from the Ramayana. Ravana effigy-making competition was also held.

The festival of Dasehra was celebrated with gaiety and enthusiasm at the kindergarten section of Guru Nanak Public School. The tiny tots spoke on the significance of Dasehra. Various art and craft activities were performed by the children on the occasion. The tiny tots were educated as to why effigies of Ravana are torched every year, thereby signifying the triumph of good over evil. The students imbibed the message that good always wins over evil.

Doraha: The festival of Dasehra was celebrated at Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School. A student from Class VII shared some valuable words about the importance of Dussehra. Girl students enchanted everyone by singing a melodious and sacred hymn.
OM PARKASH BANSAL MODERN SCHOOL
Khanna: Dasehra was celebrated at Om Parkash Bansal Modern School, Mandi Gobindgarh, with zeal and fervor. The function began with a prayer and a message in which the students spoke on the significance of the festival and how it is celebrated in the country.
