Bushra Amin, 17, a new name in the league of meritorious girls from the Kashmir valley, believes “determination is important” if we want to achieve success.
Bushra, who topped Class XII examination in the science faculty by securing 97.8 per cent marks, also credited her parents for her success. Both her parents are teachers by profession.
“They supported me and it was because of their guidance that I could achieve this feat. I am really very happy,” said Bushra, a resident of Khan Bagh locality of Pampore town.
Bushra, who is preparing for the common entrance test, wants to pursue a career in medicine and serve society as a doctor.
“I want to serve the country and especially Kashmir. I am trying for MBBS for now, but my aim is to serve society. Be it as a doctor or any other way,” said Bushra, who gives the credit of her success to the dedicated teachers of her school as well.
Bushra relied on consistent hard work and a scheduled timetable to get the desired result in her exams. “I studied at least for six hours every day. I think we need to work hard not only during exams but throughout the year. Determination is very important if we want to achieve anything in life,” she said.
