Dev Samaj celebrates founder’s birth anniversary

Chandigarh, December 26
100 units of blood were collected during a blood donation camp organised on the 165th birth anniversary celebrations of Bhagwan Dev Atma, founder of Dev Samaj.
The camp was held at Sector 36, in collaboration with GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Among donors were students of Dev Samaj institutions, followers of Dev Samaj and general public.
The morning air reverberated with band display by
Students of Dev Samaj Senior Secondary School, Ferozepur and Dev Samaj Model School, Ferozepur, Dev Samaj VidyaNiketan, Gurgaon, Dev Samaj Senior Secondary School, Sector 21, Chandigarh and two Dev Samaj Schools of New Delhi played bagpipe band.
Shriman Nirmal Singh Dhillon, Secretary, Dev Samaj, appraised the gathering about the contribution of Bhagwan Dev Atma. Dhillon said Lala Lajpat Rai was admirer of Bhagwan and Rai once said Bhagwan’s writing skills had potential to transform the country.
