Fancy dress competition

Chandigarh: Nav Bal Niketan School, Sector 29, organised a fancy dress competition. The theme of the competition was “India’s freedom struggle”.

Arts and crafts workshop

Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22, provided wings to the imagination of its students by organising an art and craft workshop. Lamp shades, glass paintings and art works made by students were put on display during the parent-teacher meeting at the school library.

Special assembly

Students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Model School, Sector 38, celebrated the birthday of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib. A special assembly was organised by students of Class VIII. During the assembly, they recited shabad and poems.

Workshop on child management

A workshop on child management was organised by Sudhir Singhal, Guinness World Record holder and author of various books, at AKSIPS 41 Smart School. The workshop highlighted various techniques to enable learning among students.

International festival

Panchkula: A team of five students of St Xavier’s High School, Sector 20, along with team leader Monika Arora, participated in the fourth International Festival of Biotechnology hosted by City Montessori School, Lucknow. — TNS
