Chief Minister Harish Rawat has ordered immediate filling of vacant posts of instructor in Industrial Training Institutes(ITI).
Harish Rawat, at a meeting held here today, said taking into account the delay in the appointment of regular instructors, guest instructors must be appointed in all ITIs.
Chief Minister Harish Rawat asked officials to ensure the availability of all necessary training equipment required in ITIs and ordered for regular inspections.
Chief Minister Harish Rawat stressed on starting livelihood training courses in ITIs. “The youth of Uttarakhand must get training of livelihood from ITIs, which will help them establish their own business. It will also check migration from the hill and remote areas of the state”, he said.
Cabinet minister Harish Chandra Durgapal, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Rakesh Sharma and Principal Secretary Om Prakash took part in the meeting.
