Fusion dance, play mark annual function of Drona’s School
Dehradun, December 21
Drona’s International School celebrated its annual function here today. A cultural programme started with Saraswati Vandana, followed by dance items on ‘Bum bum bole’ and ‘O ri chiraiya’ by schoolchilderen.
Senior girls presented a fusion dance, followed by a Hindi play ‘Andha yug’.
Students also performed dances from Garhwal and Bengal, depicting culture and sanskriti of Uttarakhand and West Bengal. Finance Controller of the state government Poonam Singh Sobit was the chief guest on the occasion. Ranbir Singh and Gopal Datt (Assistant Secretary, CBSE, Dehradun) were the guest of honour. — TNS
