Govt depts set up stalls at MHAC School fair

Jammu, April 16

Maharaja Harisingh Agricultural Collegiate (MHAC) School, Nagbani, organised a fair on the school premises here.

During the fair, various government departments like Agriculture, Horticulture, Information, etc, set up their stalls to create awareness among the people of adjoining areas people regarding improved farm practices, use of modern techniques, energy, water conservation, etc.

Minister for Social Welfare and Forestry Bali Bhagat was the chief guest.

The minister in his address emphasised on the need to organise such fairs to maintain the tradition and ethos of the land. He was honoured by the Nagbani school management, wherein Principal Alok Betab presented him a shawl and memento. Cultural troupes from the Jammu region enthralled the gathering with folk songs and music.
