Instructions issued for transfer of head masters, JBT teachers

The Haryana School Education Department has issued instructions under the General Transfer-2016 of JBT teachers and head masters stating that while seeking transfer, the teachers should opt for schools against the same post for which they had filled up the service profile.
While stating this here today, a spokesman for the department said that applications were being received at the headquarters from teachers that they were working as JBT teacher, but their service profile had been approved for the post of head master.
Similarly, some teachers had sent applications that they were working as head masters, but their service profile had been approved for the post of the JBT teacher. Now, all such teachers had been requesting to get their service profile corrected, he added.
He said that after examining the issue, it had been decided that filling up of the service profile and its approval was the responsibility of the teacher concerned and the principal of the school.
“They did not pay any heed while doing the same and now it is not possible to correct such mistakes as teachers were filing up options for schools and zones. Therefore, such teachers have been advised to opt for schools as against the post for which they had filled up their service profile,” he added.
