An intra-school competition on ‘save environment, save life’ was held at Ram Lal Bhasin Public School, Dugri. A collage-making competition, painting competition and poster-making competition was held. President Balraj Bhasin motivated students to always do the best. Principal Raman Oberoi said children were full of limitless talent, ideas and intelligence, and only need opportunities.

Inter-class poetry contest

Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar, organised an inter-class poetry recitation competition for kindergarten wing. Students recited poems with a rhyme scheme, proper stress and intonation, full of gestures giving it a complete look. Principal Jyoti Pujara encouraged students to attain the zeal and valuable thoughts to enrich their knowledge and wisdom. She appreciated the skills of tiny tots and congratulated the winners and motivated them to always showcase their talent in spectra of activities.

Investiture ceremony

To inculcate leadership qualities and to install a sense of responsibility in the students, school parliament is democratically elected every year at Ryan International School, Jamalpur, Ludhiana. This parliament constitutes students council members president, vice-president, prime minister, speaker and other cabinet ministers. Chief Guest Jeevan Gupta applauded the effort put in by the students and advised the newly elected council to cooperate with each other and work hand in hand to instill discipline, good academic culture and values amongst.

Red day

Children at Brats and Cuties organised red day by dressing up in red clothes and bringing red items. They made that day were red and they even recited poems based on it. There were giant cut-out of a red-coloured letter box, strawberry, watermelon. This gave the tiny tots an opportunity to identify various items associated with the colour and the entire experience strengthened their learning in an enjoyable manner.

Plantation drive

Students of Ryan School, Dugri, participated in plantation drive from Atam Park. Students of Class VI onwards planted saplings of teak trees and prayed for the ir survival. The idea behind this drive is to make India more clean and green. Headmistress of the school Ritu Syal said, “When we heal the earth, we heal ourselves.” — TNS
