The Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Kot Bhalwal, has organised an alumni meet on its premises.
A total of 75 alumni from all batches and working in multi-national firms participated in the meet. Prof Ankur Gupta, director, MIET, presented an overview of the achievements at MIET.
He laid a comprehensive alumni engagement model which included recognition and awards, alumni mentorship programme, “Meet the Alumni” series of lectures and launch of alumni e-portal.
Prof SK Sharma, director for academics, MIET, described the alumni as the strength of MIET. He encouraged them to give back something to MIET.
An alumni map was released, which showed that over 400 alumni of MIET were working overseas in top organisations. Sahil Sawhney, manager, strategic initiatives, presented the vote of thanks.
