Nageshwar Rao is VC of open varsity

Dehradun, April 11

Governor KK Paul today appointed Prof Nageshwar Rao, Vice-Chancellor (in-charge) of Indira Gandhi National Open University, as the Vice Chancellor of Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani, Nainital.

He has been appointed for a period of three years from the date of appointment or till the time he retires, whichever is earlier.

The Governor has appointed Rao by utilising his powers as Chancellor. The appointment has been made while over-ruling the earlier order of February 4, 2016. — TNS
