Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital (DBDC), Sri Muktsar Sahib, has been granted permission to start new postgraduate degree (MDS) courses.
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has approved the proposal of the college for starting new PG courses, namely conservative dentistry and endodontic, orthodontics, dentofacial orthopedics and prosthodontics- crown and bridge, to meet the dental education needs in Punjab.
Disclosing this, Dr Zora Singh, Chairman, Desh Bhagat Group, said the Central Government had accepted the recommendation of the Dental Council of India and conveyed its approval to allow admitting students to MDS courses in different specialties with six seats for the academic session 2015-16 on the request of Desh Bhagat Dental College for these PG programmes.
