“AARAMBH”, a four-day orientation programme of Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) Business School, concluded here today. It was held for the fresh batch of MBA students on the Rajiv Gandhi Govt Engineering College campus at Nagrota Bagwan. It carried a message for the youth to set a goal and holistic measures to achieve the same.

Ashok Kumar, coordinator, Vivekananda Kendra, and social worker, who was the chief guest of the programme, impressed upon the younger generation to follow the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and the Bhagwad Gita to live a holistic life, serve society and down-trodden people.

HPTU Business School also celebrated “Yaad Karo Qurbaani, Azaadi 70 Saal” and in this connection special invitee Shiv Kumar Sharma, son of the famous freedom fighter and Indian National Army (INA) Captain, late Jagan Nath Rattan from Dehra, briefed students about the freedom movement. The programme begun on August 20 and Rakesh Nagpal, an industrialist from Nagrota Bagwan, was the chief guest at the inaugural session.

Prof Rakesh Sehgal, Director-cum-Principal of Rajiv Gandhi Govt Engineering College, welcomed the guests. Dr Puneet Sood, coordinator of the school, explained various initiatives taken in this business school under various themes
