The annual function of Jack and Jill School, Gobindpuri, was organised at Maa Tripura Devi Temple here yesterday. Children presented cultural items and social message theme-based skits at the occasion.
Patriotic songs, folk items were major attraction of the function.
Chief guest Muni Maharaj lighted the traditional lamp. In his address he emphasised on the need of moral value-based education to children.
The seer said in today’s world when nucleus family was taking prominence over joint family system, play schools responsibility increases apart from basic education. They have to make children morally stronger too.
Yogi Rajneesh gave a presentation on yoga. He urged parents to do yoga and also involve children in this ancient healthy art. This will pave the way for better mental and physical development.
School director Ashish Kumar Aggarwal said, “The school also provides memory enhancing module training to young students, which enhances their memory power and mental attitude.”
Display of memory enhancing technique by students of Dynamic Mind Academy was lauded by all and sundry.
Students, who excelled in academics, sports and co-curricular activities, were also honoured. Priya Bajaj, Surendra Aggarwal, Akhil Aggarwal, Vipul Aggarwal, Rimple, Bharati, Tanu Aggarwal, Ruchi and Anu Verma coordinated the annual function.
