PGDCA (Semester I) RESULTS
Ludhiana: Students of Government College for Girls brought laurels to the city bagging top positions in the Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA- Semester I) examination held by the Panjab University. In all, nine students scored university positions. Simrandeep Kaur secured the first position with 89.7 per cent marks, followed by Satinder Kaur with 88.6 per cent marks. Principal Mohinder Kaur Grewal said she was happy with the students’ performance and this was due to the combined efforts of the students and the teachers.” Other students who got university positions included Neha, Navneet Kaur, Aanchal, Harjot Kaur, Kulwinder Kaur, Sonia and Sonia Verma, who scored 85.5%, 85.33%, 85.11%, 84.88%, 84.66%, 84.44% and 84%, respectively.

Jasmeen Kaur scored 84.44 per cent in the PGDCA (Semester I) examination and stood first in Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women, Gujarkhan Campus, Model Town. Shikha Singla, who scored an aggregate of 82 per cent, stood second in the college. Shaveta Chhabra secured the third position with 75.55 per cent marks.
KHALSA COLLEGE FOR WOMEN
The students of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, achieved outstanding results in the PGDCA (Semester I) examination. Kulwinder Kaur Tamna bagged the third position in the university and first in the college scoring 85.5 per cent marks, while Shilpa Bhola stood fifth in the university scoring 85.11 per cent. Bharti Arora bagged the tenth position in the university securing 83.55 per cent marks. Kulwinder Kaur attributed her success to hard work and punctuality, coupled with the blessings and support of her parents, college principal Mukti Gill and the faculty. Pritpal Singh Grewal, president, managing committee, congratulated the principal and the staff of the Computer Science Department.
GURU NANAK GIRLS COLLEGE
Sarabjot Kaur bagged the first position in college in the PGDCA (Semester I) examination, scoring 82.22 per cent marks. Damandeep Kaur and Navjot Kaur shared the second position securing 80.44 per cent marks. Ramandeep Kaur stood third in the college securing 80.22 per cent marks. Principal Charanjit Mahal, president Gurbir Singh and officiating secretary Ishwarjot Cheema congratulated the faculty and the students.
BBA-III RESULTS
Ludhiana: Students of Kamla Lohtia SD College showed 100 per cent result in the BBA-III examination conducted by the Panjab University. In all, out of 28 out of 31 students secured the first division. Lucky bagged the first position in the college securing 67.8 per cent marks and Simranjot Singh stood second with 67.53 per cent marks. Inderpal Singh got 67.4 per cent marks. Principal Shiv Mohan Sharma congratulated the students and the faculty for their efforts. Rajesh Marwaha, head, PG Department of Commerce and Management, appreciated the students’ performance.
MASTER TARA SINGH MEMORIAL COLLEGE
Students of Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women scored 100 per cent result in the BBA-III examination. Bhagwan Shree stood first in the college with 77.06 per cent marks, followed by Meenu Verma with 76.4 per cent marks and Tamandeep Kaur with 75.2 per cent marks. College president Swaran Singh, secretary Kanwalinder Singh and principal Harminder Kaur appreciated the students for their hard work and the faculty for their guidance.

Students of BBA-III of Guru Nanak Girls College, Model Town, showed excellent results in the university examination. Shweta stood first in the college securing 75.48 per cent marks. Anu Kansal and Pawandeep Kaur shared the second position with 74.09 per cent marks. Manpreet Kaur stood third securing 73.95 per cent marks. Principal Charanjit Mahal and president Gurbir Singh congratulated the faculty and students.

Students showed excellent results in the BBA-III examination. Amanpreet Kaur stood first in the college scoring 79.9 per cent marks, while Antra Grover stood second with 79.02 per cent marks. The third position was bagged byAmanpreet Kaur with 78.97 per cent marks. Gurvinder Singh Sarna, general secretary, college governing body and principal Manjit Kaur Ghuman congratulated the students and the faculty on their outstanding achievement.
SRI AUROBINDO COLLEGE
Students of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management showed 100 per cent result in the BBA -III examination. All the students secured the first division. Suvrat Jain bagged the first position in the university with 1753/2150 marks. Manveen Kaur stood third in the university with 1738 marks, Manish Malhotra stood seventh with 1704 marks and Gurjot Singh bagged the eighth position with 1703 marks. In all, eight students got distinction. Principal RL Behl and the faculty congratulated the students on their success. Director, education, Brigadier HS Bhandal, also appreciated the students’ performance.
