PPS science student tops district by scoring 97%

Proving their mettle yet against, Patiala girls outshone boys in the ISC Class XII results declared this afternoon. While Jaisreet Kaur Khaira (Science) of Punjab Public School, Nabha, topped the district by scoring 97%, Inayat Walia (Science) and Vibhuti Sayal (Arts) of Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, stood second by scoring 96.5%. Arushi Goyal (Science) of Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, scored 95.5% to bag the third spot.

Aim: Wants to pursue her degree in Computer Science from Canada
Family background: Born in the house of a progressive farmer, Kulwant Singh Khaira, Jaisreet is the eldest of the three siblings.
Success mantra: Jaisreet gives the credit of her success to her teachers Abhishek Singh and Tanuja Singh.
