PTU RESULTS

Ludhiana: In the recetly declared PTU MBA Semester II students of Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GNIMT), Gujarkhan Campus, Model Town, showed excellent results. The pass percentage of the college was 95%. PTU awarded Sessional Grade Point Average (SGPA) instead of percentages. Rajwant Kaur stood first with SGPA 9.49; Amrit Kaur and Amanjit Kaur shared the second positin with SGPA 9.43 each; Divya Goel and Aanchal Verma shared the third position with SGPA 8.46 each. Director HS Singha congratulated the students, parents and the faculty on the result. He exhorted the students to work hard to maintain their positions in the subsequent semesters.

SANKALP DIWAS 

Sankalp Diwas was celebrated at Ramgarhia Girls College to mark the beginning of the new academic session. A sehaj path was organised and its bhog ceremony was held in the college auditorium. The event commenced with the recitation of kirtan by the students of Postgraduate Departmet of Music. Padma Shri awardee, Bhai Nirmal Singh, Hazoori Ragi, also graced the occasion. He was accorded a warm welcome by Principal Inderjit Kaur, President Ranjodh Singh and Jagtar Singh, general secretary, Ramgarhia Educational Council. Inderjit Kaur welcomed the students and asked them to imbibe the values of discipline, punctuality and reverence.

PCTE GROUP OF INSTITUTES

Students of PCTE group of institutes showed excellet result in PTU examination. Kanwardeep Kaur Sidhu of BPharm stood first in Semester VIII securing 83.4% and Bharti stood second with 82.3%. Jasneet Kaur of Rayat and Bahra Institute of Pharmacy stood third with 81.90%. Amanpreet Singh of Mpharm got the fifth position with 77% and Aman Patial, Pathankot, got the  sixth position with 76.75%.  KNS Kang, director general, PCTE Group of Institutes, congratulated the students.

Academic Session

GG Khalsa College held a function to inaugurate its new academic session. After the recital of shabad kirtan,  professor Prithipal Singh Kapur informed that the college was entering in its centenary. —TNS
