PU announces counselling, interview schedule

Panjab University has announced the counselling and interview schedule for admission to the University Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management (UIHTM).

The counselling for BSc in Hospitality in Hotel Administration and BSc in Tourism Management would be conducted on June 22 at the UIHTM, near ICSSR Complex, Sector 14, Panjab University.

There are 60 seats in the Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and 30 seats in the Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM).

There would be one additional seat each for only (single) girl child, cancer and AIDS patient, wards of Kashmiri displaced persons and wards of the Kargil War.

First counselling for qualified candidates will be conducted June 22. Reporting time for qualified candidates having PUTHAT rank from 1 to 50 is at 9 am on June 22, while for candidates having rank 51 to 100, the reporting time is 11 am on the same day.

Candidates having rank between 101 and above have been asked to report at 3 pm on June 22.

The PU spokesperson said the candidates were required to appear personally for the counselling. They should bring all original certificates and documents at the time of the interview and counselling.
